David Bright is a Freelance Mountain Landscape Photographer / Trekker based on the edge of the Tyrolean Alps near the Austrian and German border, and four months a year in the Dolomites of northern Italy. The Dolomites are my primary trekking, backpacking and photography focus since 2009. I'm a professional trekker first and foremost! Mountain Landscape Photography is a side benefit as I document my primary passion in this unique alpine environment. This website is a recording of my alpine wandering over 4 decades. Several of my best mountain landscape images are from the early 1980s. My passions are ultralight hiking / trekking, cross country / downhill / tour skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, scuba diving, blue water sailing, golfing and photography.
